According to the prime minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today, anyone in Malaysia be it from the minority group or ethnic can also become a Prime Minister.
Pak Lah made this statement after he was asked to comment on Barrack Obama's victory in the recent US presidential elections. Obama was in fact from the US' minority African-American community.
The question is, is Pak Lah serious on this? Does he mean it or it is just a gesture of his just to give some words on Obama? What will Umno say then? Well, when Najib takes over in March next year, will it become "anyone from Umno also can be a PM"? Then some comments on the PM's position with racial jargon will rise again in order to protect their so-called "ketuanan" of theirs.
