In Malaysiakini report, it stated that the police action in breaking up recent DAP dinner functions has got the organisers riled up and slammed the cops for denying them their right to free speech as enshined in the constitution.
First of all, what is wrong with the police and the home ministry? Are they trying to curb the influence of DAP and the other Pakatan Rakyat parties?
It looks like the police force has been Umnonised by the BN-Umno to serve their own interest. No wonder the crime rates are high up today just because the entire force has been mobilised for Umno's sole political agenda.
That is why we really need the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) to oversea such power abuses carried out by Umno and its BN component parties.

NGOs planned protest against Bukit Aman
A coalition of NGOs consist of about 50 organizations had planned to hold a mass protest ring in front of the police headquarters in Bukit Aman to shown their dissatisfaction on certain unresolved issues.
It also shows the public discontent on the police force is also growing following the BN federal government’s decision not to establish the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) but to do with only a less effective Enforcement Agencies Integrity Commission (EAIC).
Besides, the highlights of the NGOs’ protest will also be focusing on the unresolved case of A.Kugan’s death while he was under investigation for suspicion in a car theft syndicate. They are now emphasizing why no action taken against Kugan’s killers from the police force.
Come on Tan Sri Musa (the inspector-general of police), it does not mean by hauling up your officers who murdered Kugan will make you or your entire force lost your faces. You have to accept that this is a process of justice and the murderers be it your policemen or whoever it is must face the judiciary process. They had murdered a guy who is under investigation.
If you keep on covering your face or being arrogant, Kugan will even become a national hero or perhaps a national statesman because he is a murder victim now. People are making a fame of him because your officers murdered him. Even if Kugan had committed a crime by stealing some vehicles to make ends meet, he should be allow to go through the judiciary process and from there he will be judged by the court if he is guilty or not.
The IGP should not blame the entire episode on Kugan. The more you blame him the more heroic he becomes and he might be turned into a Tun or Tan Sri type of guy by the people who fought for him. Those policemen who murdered him should be blamed for their impatience in their interrogations and their disrespect to the judiciary process.
If you let justice serve on Kugan accordingly, you don’t have to through such suffering situation. You asked for it, the entire police force asked for it. You cannot blame all these on the people, Kugan’s family and the whole. We did not go against you simply because we wanted to. We wanted justice, not to make Kugan a winner or you a loser. Justice means equality. You must serve everyone equally and not one-sided like what you have been doing in Perak right now.
As member of the police force, you must serve the people and preserve the nation’s security and not only serve the interest of a particular political party just because the leader of the political party is your home affairs minister.

EAIC a powerless entity
Most of us are gravely disappointed with the tabling of the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) bill in parliament on last Wednesday.
The bill clearly shows that it failed to address the fundamental characteristics of a complaint as it lacks the independent enforcement powers to provide effective checks and balances in a fair and transparent manner.
The attorney-general who is a political appointee of the prime minister will be vested with full powers in decision making in the EAIC thus, defeating the notion of a case being handled and disposed of in a truly independent, just and credible manner.
Grave concerns were also raised on the effectiveness and efficiency of the EAIC in handing and covering about 21 public enforcement agencies. It will definitely make the commission redundant and ineffective in its function as it will be impossible for a single commission of such limited capacity and resources to be able to handle all cases of about 21 public enforcement agencies of vast different procedures and operational orders.
Therefore, we urge the federal government to go back to original proposal of setting up the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) as recommended by the Royal Commission on the Police Force in the year 2006, instead of going round and round giving numerous excuses and reasons to avoid the IPCMC bill.

Do not deny your weakness, police told
After the funeral and cremation of a police detainee still under investigation, who was brutally tortured and murdered by a few irresponsible police personnel, every one of us are demanding to know what is the direction of the police force now?
We are all asking this question not only for Kugan, not only for opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (who was brutally tortured and beaten up by the then Inspector-General of Police) but for all those innocent people who had both suffered from mentally and physical tortures under police detentions or detention without trials.
The major concern here is not for a few particular individuals, but in the interest of the public in our nation, the human rights of each of every person here in Malaysia. Innocent people were not respected, deprived from their dignities and treated like a common murderers, like it was these people has been detained and immediately given the judgment as guilty by the police force and therefore, being treated like a murderer, a terrorist or a common criminal. Like what has been shown in a movie Judge Dredd who acts as a police, judge and executioner in public. We are not asking you to treat suspected criminals in a first class manner, these people are human beings too, they need to be treated in a just and fair manner too and let the court of law take its course.
Our question is simple! Where are our people’s rights? Are we safe and is our security guaranteed? Why is the crime rate going up and increasing daily?
Let us answer them for you. You are nowhere around when we needed your assistance, your bit base are either locked or empty, your stations are insufficient in manpower, for patrolling and so on, most of your personnel are either overweight or inefficient, politically one-sided and so on, and there are a lot more problems in the organization and structures.
When there is motor vehicle accident, we cannot make a report at the nearest police station, because they would not accept it, but instead we need to go to the district police headquarters to do so. So what is the use of having all those police stations in the villages, housing estates, markets and the bit base as well? If all these police sub-stations cannot even play a simple role of receiving and validating a report, then what are all those policemen doing there? What is the use of building so many police stations here and there and they cannot even fully function for the benefit of the public.
We have heard a lot of sayings or merely sayings from the previous and present Inspector-General of Police saying that any police stations in the country must receive reports from the public but it still doesn’t work at all. We still received complaints from the public over the inconvenience of having have to go over to the district police headquarters on a minor issues or vehicle accident, even if is there is already a police station nearby. If all these police stations cannot even play a simple role, other than the district police headquarters, just close them down effectively.
No wonder the district police headquarters are always packed with documentations, jammed with public daily enquiries, complaints and grievances, insufficient police personnel or clerical staff to handle ongoing cases and complaints which caused of the delays and errors when there are hearings, recording of statements, missing files, missing reports, misunderstandings and so on. Sometimes, you could also see traffic jams in the district police headquarters and there don’t even have enough parking space for the public to do so.
So, what are they actually doing all these while? All we had seen is these policemen has been doing a lot of political duties on behalf of prominent and powerful politicians from the federal government, namely stamping out people’s freedom of speech, freedom of expression, human rights gathering, curbing opposition parties’ activities, curbing opposition parties’ gathering, arresting opposition parliamentarians and state assemblymen for doing their jobs, manning road blocks to increase traffic jams at peak hours, eyeing or planning something to prevent an imagining political unrest which will never happen at all, listening too much to the views of the Barisan Nasional (BN) politicians and lastly having no self judgment on what is right and what is wrong. That is why the crime rate in this country is so high.
We have cases now, houses and properties of prominent politicians, businessmen being robbed, intruded into, even retired top police officers’ residence are not spared as well. There are a few reports of senior police officers being badly injured by highly experienced professional criminals. We all also know, the police cannot even control the rising influence of the well known and notorious Malay motorcycle gangs known as “Mat Rempit” in Malay language. This is because these policemen are busy curbing opposition politics for the BN people.
The police are treating suspected petty criminals in a harshest manner whereas the harshest criminals like those “Mat Rempit” are treated in a softest manner. And they let Putera Umno do the rest when they were caught in illegal racings and committing other violent crimes.
When crime alert, they are nowhere to be seen, but when there is a cycling for public awareness on certain issues, human rights or some peaceful and harmless candle light vigil, the police are the quickest in coming over to haul up and beat up all these innocent and harmless people who were merely exercising their citizens rights just because they are opposition sided in their activities. Their views are, politics are more important than crimes. Their immediate superior is the home affairs minister who is also a prominent and powerful leader of the supremacist Umno and that is where they get their salaries from, so they must listen to him more, politically.
Then they come saying these gathering and that activity is illegal and there is no permit or permission and more and more reasons they give. It is all about the law, and this is what they always say. The citizens always break the laws. They and even the home affairs minister do not use their common sense to judge things in a humane manner.
Just imagine if there is a festive celebration going on at a place of worship and there are many people that who are going in the place of worship for the purpose of prayers, recitations, offerings, can you go arrest all those innocent people just because they are gathering there or the place of worship has been too overcrowded and there’s no permit for it or they fear that it will run out of control? We supposed the home affairs minister may take advantage of these and expand his powers onto such occasions one day, if the opposition parties were to make more inroads in the next general elections. Who knows?
Therefore, it has been very clear that the force has been overly and extensively made use by Umno to enhance its political interest. The force is not fully independent and it acts on the executive order of the dominant party in the country, and we all know who.
Therefore again, we need the Independent Police Complaints and Misconducts Commission (IPCMC) to take place in order to improve the situation, the structure, the organization and finally, to upgrade the professionalism of the police force. The police force need not fear of the IPCMC, the creation of IPCMC is to guide the force into a better and respected organization and trusted by the people.
The police force must understand the IPCMC is here to help, not to create more damages. Umno is still in a denial mode and we really hope that the police are not in a denial mode as well. So please, let us help each other and not fear each other instead.

Death of civilian under police custody, denial and cover-up
With another death as the result of police brutality, the call for an Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) to be established had once again resurfaced.
There is a need for the IPCMC to come into the picture as soon as possible because the police force had to-date yet to let seen any of its reforms or improvements as promised by the BN government earlier. In other words, nothing had really been done so far?
The assistance by the two deputy ministers in the prime minister’s department to the family of the deceased recently had also sparked protest and uneasiness from the police force for trying to seek the truth behind the cover-ups. However, the police has not being able to cover-up anymore, thanks to the fast and efficient acts of the two deputy ministers and the press as well to expose the wrongdoers who are also the murderers from within the police force.
Due to the wide publicity onto this murder, the attorney-general had no any other choice but to classify this case as murder and a file has been open to facilitate the charges onto those who involved.
And yet at the last moment, in order to avoid losing face, the home affairs minister Datuk Syed Hamid Albar try to stress that if the two deputy ministers were to be found to have been part of the group of aggrieve family members who ambushed and stormed into the mortuary to examine the body of the victim, they will be charged for the said offence.
Why did Syed Hamid trying to do something to deny the incident which had in actual fact already taken place and the truth has been established that those policemen had killed the 22 year old man while under detention. It proves that Syed Hamid is behaving like an ostrich now by trying to hide only his head under the sand thinking that nobody would ever know anything at all.
Syed Hamid also known as the “Father of Security Instability” is well known as an expert fast moving and committed liar in all areas he is involved with. Look at during the previous incident when the then Bukit Bendera Umno division chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail who uttered racist remarks on the Chinese community during an election campaign and a journalist reported his statement in the press.
Did you know what happened? Datuk Ahmad Ismail immediately admitted his racist statement and pledged to repeat his act again and called for the journalist who wrote his statement in the press to be arrested or killed. So, after that Syed Hamid immediately signed the detention order to detain the journalist who reported the incident to the press under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for the purpose of protecting her (the journalist) from any extremist threat.
So what happened is the real threat to the security Datuk Ahmad Ismail escapes untouched. Or could we say all Umno top leaders are untouchable because of their supremacist position in the party and the country.
Therefore, we need a new system of governance and a new government as well to let the truth prevail and give confidence and hope to the people and our nation.

We want the IPCMC Bill, not the SCC Bill
We are gravely disappointed with the BN government over the tabled Special Complaints Commission (SCC) Bill instead of the originally proposed Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) which was made by the Royal Commission To Enhance the Operations and Managements of the Royal Malaysian Police previously.The SCC Bill had clearly defeats the true intention of the Royal Commission to enhance the professionalism of the police force and to ensure that the doctrines, laws, rules and procedures are adhered to and implemented by the police.
The current SCC Bill had in fact failed to look into the fundamental requirement for complaint mechanism in order to make the police more accountable to the public for their actions or omission to act on public complaints. Besides, the SCC also lacks of its independence nature in providing an effective check and balance on the police force. Our worries doubled when we found that the SCC Bill intends to put the inspector general of police (IGP) in the governance structure of the commission and concerns are further increasing when details of the SCC Bill shows that the commission will have no powers to conduct independent investigation into the police force i.e. submissions will be channeled back to the police to investigate complaints lodged against themselves.
In the Royal Commission official report in the year 2005, it found that the internal mechanism currently governed by the police themselves were in fact inadequate, unreliable, and often ineffective. As such, the IPCMC was introduced to address all these inefficiencies and to come out with a reliable structure in order to address complaints made against the police in a fair and transparent manner. The Royal Commission had then saw the importance of such implementation to improve the much needed public confidence in our country’s policing system and to make the police force more accountable to the public as a whole.
The proposed SCC is completely useless in the sense that the public will not have any confidence nor any trust to lodge a complaint against the police given the fact that the SCC will be governed by the IGP himself where it will definitely create a conflict of interest. Second the inquiry procedures lead back to the police force itself of which will create another interest confliction.
In this case, if there is any complaint made by the public on the police force, there will be indeed no proper attainment of justice in an impartial manner free from any element of collusion.
Therefore, by tabling the SCC Bill is similar to nothing has been done. It’s just simply waste of time.

MACC can be monitored but why PDRM cannot?
Yesterday, the prime minister had tabled the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) bill in the parliament, to enable the anti graft organization to function as an effective enforcement body. The debate of the MACC Bill in parliament would be today.
With the upgrade of the current Anti Corruption Agency (ACA) into a full-fledged commission solely responsible to the parliament, the new MACC shall also be supervised and oversaw by five special bodies namely the Anti Corruption Advisory Board, the Special Committee on Corruption, Operations Review Panel, Corruption Prevention & Consultative Panel and lastly a Complaints Committee.
All the members of these panels will be selected from outside the commission and officials from the MACC will sit in these panels merely as ex-officio personnel. Some of these panels are also expected to be filled by parliamentarians from both the Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional.
As you can see, the new MACC is going to prove its transparency by willing to be monitored by five advisory panels, especially the Complaints Committee which would address any complaints and hear any dissatisfaction from the public.
So, how about the police force (PDRM)? Why are they so worried of being monitored by a proposed commission called the Independent Police Complaints & Misconducts Commission (IPCMC)? Why did the entire top officials of PDRM objected to the establishment of IPCMC to an extend of threatening to let loose crimes into our neighborhood if the government proceeds with its plan? Is PDRM trying to hide something within their organization and structure?
If you are not wrong and you are innocent, why afraid of being watch or monitored by the IPCMC? Don’t you all want to prove to the public the efficiency of your organization? If the entire structure of PDRM is unclean, corrupt and there are some cover-ups in its unlawful activities, then we understand, as IPCMC may prosecute those who were wronged in their duties and activities.
And did you know during the 1950s in Hong Kong, the Royal Police Force was entirely corrupted and it took years for the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) to monitor and clean up the entire structure of the force until it became the most efficient police force in the world today. Today’s Hong Kong Police Force is considered the best in terms of efficiency, administration, crime busting and its technology as well.
The top officials of PDRM should clearly understand that by having IPCMC monitoring them in their daily functions does not mean they would be restricted in their law enforcement duties and crime prevention activities. The PDRM can carry out its functions as usual as a public security provider, the IPCMC is there to assist to monitor, investigate and to check on public dissatisfaction on the police force and at the same time to assist the force to enhance their professional image in the eyes of the public.
So, we cannot understand why is PDRM so afraid of IPCMC? If you have nothing wrong and discharging your duties with full honesty and commitment, why bother about IPCMC? Let those who are corrupt and abusing their powers to worry about this. And we are sure that not all personnel of PDRM are bad or corrupt.
Therefore, Pak Lah, when are you going to table the IPCMC Bill in the parliament? The Special Complaints Commission (SCC) that you are suggesting isn’t effective enough to evaluate PDRM to the whole extend. SCC is too general and applied to too many areas without any special attention or focus to PDRM. If you wish to go ahead with SCC, then forget it. It is just like nothing has been done.
With the upgrade of the current Anti Corruption Agency (ACA) into a full-fledged commission solely responsible to the parliament, the new MACC shall also be supervised and oversaw by five special bodies namely the Anti Corruption Advisory Board, the Special Committee on Corruption, Operations Review Panel, Corruption Prevention & Consultative Panel and lastly a Complaints Committee.
All the members of these panels will be selected from outside the commission and officials from the MACC will sit in these panels merely as ex-officio personnel. Some of these panels are also expected to be filled by parliamentarians from both the Pakatan Rakyat and Barisan Nasional.
As you can see, the new MACC is going to prove its transparency by willing to be monitored by five advisory panels, especially the Complaints Committee which would address any complaints and hear any dissatisfaction from the public.
So, how about the police force (PDRM)? Why are they so worried of being monitored by a proposed commission called the Independent Police Complaints & Misconducts Commission (IPCMC)? Why did the entire top officials of PDRM objected to the establishment of IPCMC to an extend of threatening to let loose crimes into our neighborhood if the government proceeds with its plan? Is PDRM trying to hide something within their organization and structure?

The police failed because IPCMC failed to materialize
Recently, we had seen the police acted harshly against our fellow Pakatan Rakyat MP, State Assemblyman and the latest, a State Executive Councillor. Prior to that, even a State Executive Councillor was detailed under the Internal Security Act for a week at Umno’s instigation.We could clearly see that the police force of today does too much work on political policing. The majority of the manpower in the force has been much concentrating on assisting Umno to curb the rising influence and popularity of Pakatan Rakyat.
As the result, the force is getting more corrupted and one-sided and listened too much to certain Umno top leaders. The top brass of the force are also seen to be leaning towards the dominant party in the Barisan Nasional in order to prevent the establishment of the Independent Police Misconduct and Complaints Commission (IPCMC). The police special branch’s headcount was increased to carry out these “political” tasks.
Therefore, an “understanding” might have taken place i.e. “make sure you don’t form the IPCMC to control us and we will take care of your political rivals for you” or “if you get IPCMC into the picture, we will increase the crime rates”. So, that is why the proposed IPCMC did not take place but instead a loosely Special Complaints Commission (SCC) was counter-proposed to do away with the original plan.
With this, the police got down to do its intense political policing for Umno by harassing the Pakatan Rakyat leaders and even their state governments. What happened after then?
You all could see it today, here, in front of you, almost daily! The crime rates in our nation are increasing drastically. Armed robbery, murder, rape, snatch thieves, kidnappings and various kinds of threats are happening everyday in our neighborhood, districts, states and the entire nation. Even innocent children are being kidnapped or brutally murdered. Where are the police when our people needed them so much?
The police were supposed to protect us from all these crimes around us but they were not there when we need them. They were busy fighting in politics on behalf of their political masters who are also well known with their racist supremacy, dominancy and neo-Nazi stand.
In this case, Pakatan Rakyat state governments should now start to initiate the establishment of a state level IPCMC each in Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kedah and Kelantan in order to observe and oversee the effectiveness of the police in their respective states.
Concurrently, in order to counter-balance the powers of the police, the Pakatan Rakyat state governments should also look into possibilities of establishing their own Security Force in order to provide effective security measures for their chief ministers and state executive councilors and to support crime prevention efforts by the respective state administrations as well.
The Pakatan Rakyat leaders should jointly come out with a firm resolution to deny the continuous display of power abuse by Umno and the police force onto our peace loving people and community.

Hamid should do his homework by first reading and digesting the 2005 Royal Police Commission Report

I am very disappointed by the Home Minister, Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar's response to complaints by Taiwanese investors about the serious crime situation in the country which affects investment confidence.
In fact, this is not just the concern of Taiwanese investors but all foreign and local investors as well as ordinary Malaysians and visitors, as crime in Malaysia has become one of the biggest problems in Malaysia – with the exception of the Home Minister.
In fact, the problem of rising crime index has been a staple subject of DAP MPs in Parliament in the last two Parliaments.I just cannot imagine how Hamid could be so unresponsive and irresponsible as to dismiss the Taiwanese investors' complaints about the crime situation in Malaysia, claiming that the law-and-order situation in Malaysia has not reached a "red danger alert".
Let me advise Hamid to do his homework by first reading and digesting the 2005 Royal Police Commission Report, or he would not have committed another faux pax like his earlier ridiculous statement that the Sin Chew senior reporter Tan Hoon Ching was arrested under the Internal Security Act for her own protection and safety!
When Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi became Prime Minister in October 2003, the crime situation was already out of control which was why one of his first reform promises and measures which won him all-round plaudits and support among Malaysians was the establishment of the Royal Police Commission to reduce crime to restore to Malaysians their twin fundamental rights to be free from crime and the fear of crime, whether in the streets, public places or the privacy of their homes.
The Royal Police Commission in its May 2005 Report had referred to the "alarming" and "dramatic increase" in the crime index from 121,176 cases in 1997 to 156,455 cases in 2004, an increase of 29 per cent in eight years, and recommended a reduction by 20% in the crime index in the first 12 months.
In actual fact, the reverse took place. In the past four years, the crime index had worsened from 156,315 cases in 2003 to 224,298 cases in 2007 – a sharp rise of some 45% when it should have gone down as recommended by the Royal Police Commission which proposed a 20% drop in the crime index in the first 12 months of its report.For the first time in the nation's 50-year history, the crime index last year crashed through the 200,000 psychological barrier.
Women in Malaysia are now more unsafe today than four years ago – as the incidence of rape had more than doubled from a daily average of four women in 2003 to 8.5 women last year!Has Hamid forgotten the Barisan Nasional's 2008 general election manifesto where it promised: "Bring down the country's crime index".What has Hamid as Home Minister done in the past seven months to fulfil the BN 2008 manifesto to "Improve the level of personal safety for every individual"?
Hamid has nothing to show as Malaysia today is even more unsafe to its citizens, visitors, tourists and investors because of endemic crime as compared to the start of the Abdullah premiership in 2003 or even just March this year.Has Hamid forgotten the spate of crime in the country like the robbery-cum-murder of Thor Joo Lee, wife of former Penang State Assemblyman for Bukit Tambun, Lai Chew Hock at her Tambun Indah house in Penang and the robbery of Datin Chang Lee Lee, wife of former Penang Exco and Pulau Tikus Assemblyman Datuk Dr. Teng Hock Nan in her Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman house in Penang among other outrages?
Malaysians are paying a terrible cost in terms of the personal safety of its citizens, tourists and investors and the nation's investment climate because of the unchecked rising crime index and lack of leadership and commitment to declare an all-out-war against crime whether by the Home Minister or the Inspector-General of Police.
In fact, it is no exaggeration to say that crime in Malaysia has become so endemic as to scare away tourists and investors precisely because the most important recommendation of the Police Royal Commission to establish the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) to create an efficient, professional and world-class police service to keep crime low in the country had not been implemented or heeded.
Is Hamid prepared to support the establishment of a full-fledged IPCMC and not a tooth-less and clawless Special Complaints Commission (SCC) which is a mockery of the Royal Police Commission's IPCMC proposal, as there will be police representatives on the SCC!

IPCMC gone to the grave, here comes SCC
Well, we have heard of Pak Lah's final plans prior to his retirement next March. Looks like the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commision (IPCMC) isn't going to come into realiti as the Special Complaints Commission (SCC) is expected to be the core subject in one of Pak Lah's final plans.
Is Pak Lah bowing to the pressure from the police force? Why wasn't he and the BN government fulfilling the real promises made during after the 8 March general elections? Has the police force improve its services to the public? Has the crime rate decrease? The answer is a big "No". None of these had improve nor the policing system itself. The crime rate had increased drastically ever since.
The mechanism of the SCC would be too general as it will not fully focus on the improvement of the police force itself but a number of enforcement agencies as well.
So, when is the Barisan Nasional government going to be serious in its crime prevention efforts?

In accordance to the findings made by the special commission to revamp the police force previously, it has been recommended that the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) to be established to oversea the malpractice, power misuse and misconduct in the police force.
The BN federal government delayed and delayed and later came up with an idea: Special Complaints Commission (SCC) to replace the IPCMC which caused widespread protest from all corners of the nation because the SCC was out of the topic then.
After the 8 March general elections which saw the disastrous defeat of the Barisan Nasional in the hands of the Pakatan Rakyat, the federal government promised to push ahead and expedite the implementation of the IPCMC based on the people's mandate.
Today, its nearly at the end of August and the federal government had failed to come up with IPCMC framework. Looks like BN is trying to delay the IPCMC again and shift the attention to other issues. How long is the BN going to keep the IPCMC in the cold storage? Have you forgotten your promise to the people?
