Come on, Dr Koh Tsu Koon, it doesn't mean when you are now a minister in the federal government, you need not care about your homestate anymore.
We all know what you had done, and we are sure that you also know. So why hide in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya and refuse to come out like a man to help to resolve all the mess created by your previous state government?
Tsu Koon, you should not put the blame on the pesent state government and manipulate this issue into a racial one. You are not being transparent on your past doings.

Bukit Gantang: Reject the Umno rebel state government in Perak
It will be a referendum in Perak. On 6 February 2009, Perak Umno launched a coup d’etat to topple the Perak state government which was elected by the people on 8 March 2008 general election last year.
After the legitimate state government was overthrown, a rebel state government was briefly established by Perak Umno to replace the former. After the Umno rebel state government came to power, the state legislative assembly was suspended from its proceedings with the help from the police and other security force. State assemblymen were barred from entering the state legislative building for fear of popular vote that will undermine the Umno rebel state government’s legitimacy.
Therefore, let us all show Umno how illegitimate and treason they are in Perak. Umno had recently killed democracy in Perak, denying the Perakians their rights, their choice of government and their right to speak up.
Let us all give our votes to Pakatan Rakyat candidate Datuk Seri Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin of PAS in the Bukit Gantang parliamentary by-election on this 7 April.

Disneyland scandal in Selangor
The loser of the Umno youth chief race, Dr Mohd Khir Toyo had created yet another “good name” for himself and so does his fellow Selangor Umno leaders and their spouses.
Dr Mohd Khir Toyo and his fellow Umno leaders who formerly governed Selangor had spent more than RM1.7 million of public funds to visit two Disneyland theme parks in the United States and France with their respective spouses and children.
These two trips which were organized in 2007 and 2004 were in addition to the two other trips to Disneyland parks in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
According to the chief executive officer of the state investment arm called Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) Datin Khairiyah Abu Hassan who attended the hearing conducted by the Selangor Select Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency, PNSB paid for all those trips in full sum on instruction from Dr Khir Toyo who was at that time mentri besar and PNSB chairman.
Datin Khairiyah also testified to the select committee that Dr Khir Toyo’s entourage which also includes their families merely visited the theme parks as ordinary members of the public. Besides, Datin Khairiyah also confirmed that there were no reports file in accordance with procedures after the visits.
And there goes another discovery of Umno’s blatant power abuse and corruption during their years of governance in Selangor. These Umno leaders together with their spouses made use of the public funds mean for the betterment and development of the state for their personal enjoyment and luxurious livings.
The Selangor Select Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency which will be reporting its finding to the state legislative assembly should take its action as soon as possible by reporting these power abuses and corrupt activities to the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC).
However, we doubt MACC will act against Dr Khir Toyo and other Selangor Umno leaders because Umno is still in power at the federal level and MACC will have to act only on the jurisdiction of the prime minister. Will MACC act independently or not? We will not know until we see them doing it, but with full heartedly or half heartedly? Is MACC really independent?
And if MACC decided not to pursue with this case, we understand because Umno leaders powerfully reign supreme over the others. They are the supremacist and untouchable.
Another political barbarian from Umno!

15 evidence of Umno’s treason against the Malay Rulers
Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat had recently exposed about 15 clear fact evidences of Umno’s treason against the Malay Rulers and the Constitutional Monarchy which are as follows:-
1. The founder of Umno Datuk Onn Jaafar was thrown out of the Johor Royal Palace in 1920 and he took refuge at Singapore because of his criticism against the Sultan of Johor on his property and debts by his royal family members;
2. In 1974, Tan Sri Ghazali Jawi, the father of former Datuk Seri Tajol Rosli refused to resign as Mentri Besar of Perak despite of his written agreement with the Sultan of Perak earlier indicating that he would only hold the position for two years. As the result of his broken pledge, the Sultan of Perak was displeased with his rudeness and actions. Then recently Tajol Rosli said Umno never commit any treason. So, what about his father’s action?
3. In 1979, the then Mentri Besar of Pahang Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakar quarreled with the Sultan of Pahang. As the result of this, pro-Umno medias waged their criticism against the Sultan.
4. In 1983, Umno initiated to reduce the powers of the Yang Dipertuan Agong which regards to rights to declare a state of emergency. In protest of Umno’s move, the Council of Malay Rulers rejected the proposal where Umno in response to the rejection mounted a nationwide criticism against the Malay Rulers via its party controlled media and press.
5. During the Umno general assembly in 1991, the Sultan of Kelantan was widely condemned and blamed by Umno leaders and delegates for the party loss in Kelantan to PAS during the general elections.
6. At the Umno general assembly too in 1991, Umno delegates had openly called for investigation on properties and monies accumulated by the Malay Rulers. The report was widely published in Utusan Malaysia as a headline. Isn’t this treason?
7. Umno leaders and members held a mass demonstration against the Sultan of Kelantan and handed over their memorandum to him on their disagreement with the sultanate. Why didn’t the police fire their tear gas to disperse the demonstration which was without permit and illegal at that time?
8. On 18 January 1993, Umno leaders had actively initiated an amendment to the Federal Constitution to allow Malay Rulers to be charged in Special Court for their offence and any other matters. When the Malay Rulers request the move to be withheld in order to have more time to review it, Umno wage a massive press war against the Malay Rulers with various criticisms and condemnations.
9. In the year 1993 too, massive rallies organized by Umno without permits were held Alor Setar, Bagan Datoh, Seremban, Batu Pahat and Melaka to show their support to the then prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad wage their anger and condemnation against the Malay Rulers.
10. Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah once asked which one of these is more dangerous: the constitutional amendments in 1993 or the disrespect on the Sultan of Perak on 6 February 2009. According to Tengku Razaleigh, he did not agree with Bukit Gelugor MP Karpal Singh’s intention to sue the Sultan of Perak in the court but also agreed that Karpal has the right to do under the provision of the Federal Constitution which was amended in 1993. All the sudden Umno shouted and yelled at Karpal, and organized demonstrations against him in front of his residence. Actually, Umno members should hold demonstrations in front of the Umno headquarters too because it was their party leader who had first went against the royal institution.
11. A Kelantan Umno leader, Datuk Annuar Musa supported the illegal installation of Tengku Ibrahim Inderaputra as a Sultan in an effort to topple Sultan Ismail Petra of Kelantan. Such move by an Umno leader is clearly a disrespect, disgraceful and treason against the royalty.
12. The former Mentri Besar of Perlis Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim openly declared that he had sufficient evidence to show that the present Sultan of Kelantan Tuanku Ismail Petra was not qualified for the throne.
13. Umno information chief, Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib called Datuk Seri Mohamad Near Jamaluddin a traitor. Hasn’t he forgotten that he once absconded with the Sultan of Selangor’s daughter, Puteri Ku Yah? Due to the Sultan’s anger on Tan Sri Muhammad’s disrespect, his Datukship was withdrawn. The fact is this is also a treason.
14. After last year’s general elections, 23 of the 24 Terengganu state assemblymen threatened to boycott the swearing in of Datuk Ahmad Said as the new Mentri Besar. The rival Umno leaders made open statements condemning the Sultan of Terengganu’s alternate choice for the Mentri Besar position and insisted on wanting their Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh as the Mentri Besar. Umno members who supported Datuk Idris held demonstrations in front of the palace and took up banners and placards calling the Sultan “an animal”. Why didn’t the police arrest the Umno leaders and members for insulting the Sultan but only arrest people who demonstrated in front of Istana Kinta in Kuala Kangsar, Perak on 6 February 2009?
15. Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim boycotted the swearing in Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Isa Sabu as the new Mentri Besar of Perlis because he was not reappointed to the said position.
So, it has been clearly shown who were the real traitors and who had committed treason against the Malay Rulers and the Constitutional Monarchy. Umno is the real traitors and they committed treason against the Malay Rulers and our nation as a whole.

BN sponsored phantom voters
What is phantom voter? Phantom voter is a person who is not residing in a parliamentary or state constituency but who is a voter in that constituency. A phantom voter is also considered not a local or a person who is born and bred in that particular area. A phantom voter is also seen as a stranger in that particular area and could have never been to the said area unless there is an election going on. Phantom voters are normally heavily sponsored by the BN via offers of cash, valuables and benefits like free transportation, food, lodgings, accommodations as well as limited shopping incentives for their votes cast in each electoral constituencies.
Well, a very large number of phantom voter were discovered by PKR elections operations team recently confirming that a housing estate was fully infested by these phantom voters believed to have been implanted by BN and Umno in order for them to gain additional and more votes in the by-election or general elections.
What did the PKR members actually found? A particular single storey terrace house with only three rooms situated in a “Taman” housed about sixty (60) over people in it, but upon checking with the actual residents who were staying there, they are no such persons residing there and they do not even know who are all those sixty over persons listed in the electoral list. So these sixty over people with an address situated at a single storey terrace house with only three rooms are definitely call Phantom voters. Why? Because they are actually not genuine voters and they do not even belong to that constituency.
And whenever such allegations arise, BN and Umno are quick to deny it, because they already got their backings from the Election Commission (EC) as well. The EC in order to assist BN and Umno, often view such claims as non-existence. The EC instead twisted the facts by saying that “ghosts” are wondering souls of dead persons and there is no such thing of “ghosts” being able to vote. They are all in fact trying to cover-up facts and confuse the people on the definition of phantom voter.
Now let us shift our attention to Umno. During their party’s divisional and branch elections held last year, they are a lot of allegations by their own local party leaders and members that phantom voters exist in their divisional and branch levels too. And the Umno top leaders never deny the existence of phantom voter inside their party and in fact some even acknowledged that phantom voters did really exist in their party by saying that such happenings are common in their party politics.
As such, you could see the chain reaction here, if money politics exist in Umno, there are sure to have phantom voters in the party as well. And these party phantom voters are also given the same exclusive treats like what BN is giving to the electoral phantom voters when there is a general or by-elections.
No matter how much BN and Umno firmly denying the existence of phantom voters, we all know the facts and figures. We all know who is actually cheating us all these while. They are doing these just because they are the federal government and had their control over the related authorities and departments which are able to assist them in such manipulations.
That is why we must reject BN, Umno, money politics, corruptions and phantom voters at all cost.

Money politics continue in by-election campaigns
The nominations for the by-elections for Bukit Selambau in Kedah, Bukit Gantang in Perak and Batang Ai in Sarawak had started on 29 March with candidates from both Pakatan Rakyat, Barisan Nasional and the independents being endorsed for contest on 7 April.
And there comes money politics pouring in from BN and Umno election machineries with all sorts of promises and pledges to uphold the constituencies with developments, new roads, new lanes and “new state governments” as well.
BN and Umno campaign machineries, with the assistance of the federal government departments are doing all it can to trick and cheat the voters into believing in their promises and pledges. During the one week campaign grace period for these three constituencies, millions of Ringgit will be pouring in, thanks to Umno’s continuous practical money politics.
Besides, BN and Umno will also be working hand in hand with the election commission, the police and other federal government agencies to ensure that phantom voters will be safely ferried into these constituencies during the voting day on 7 April. Possible manipulated postal votes will also be on standby should the BN and Umno feel that the votes seen are not accounted on their side in a week’s time.
As such, Umno cannot eradicate money politics, as it has been in their roots ever since. The Bukit Mertajam Umno division chief had already said it during the party general assembly.

Change or no change makes no difference in Umno
Yesterday night, we saw the results from the Umno polls and its elected members of the supreme council.
There is actually no change at all. The line-up in the new leadership still consist of old guards and conservatives. The only change that Umno undergone yesterday was a transition from Pak Lah's men to Najib's men.
This is not change at all but only an exchange. Umno is still the same like the last or previous Umno. It did not demonstrate its willingness to open up and be multi-racial in its stand as well as its policies. It is still a political party that emphasize high supremacy over others with its racist jargons and normal threats towards others should anyone tries to mention about justice, equality, democracy and freedom. Money politics and corruption will still continue in the party as usual.
So, why do we need to focus so much on Umno's general assembly unnecessarily? Let us not waste our time on Umno.

Umno is the real power crazy traitor
In his final speech as Umno youth chief, Hishammuddin Hussein warns the delegates of the one who 'sows the seeds of hatred and will turn against his own race'.
Since from the beginning, we had already seen who were the real power crazy traitor who had sowed the seeds of racist, hatred and violence against other race.
This shows Umno's attempt to cover up their own extremism by trying to put the blame onto others. Umno is now blamming those who stood up for justice, equality and democracy for leading the nation into chaos.

Minister abused his government position to get rooms for his supporters
The minister of higher education Datuk Mohamed Khalid Nordin, one of the top contenders for the Umno vice president’s post had openly admitted that he had used the ministry’s official letterhead to book some 70 hotel rooms for Umno Pasir division members and delegates for the upcoming Umno general assembly.
A confirmed source had also state that a government cheque had been issued as a deposit to obtain the hotel rooms for the party delegates.
Datuk Mohamed Khalid also reasoned that he had instructed the usage of the ministry’s letterhead to book the hotel rooms because it is very difficult to book hotel rooms during the Umno general assembly period. What does he actually mean by that?
This is clearly an abuse of power and corrupt practice. Just because he wanted to contest and win a party vice president position, he uses his government position to serve his own interest in Umno.
Therefore, the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) should start investigating this power abuse and corrupt practice as soon as possible.

Why did Pak Lah lied to Sarawakians ?
On 16 March recently, our prime minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had confirmed to the press that the Brunei had dropped its territorial claim on Sarawak’s Limbang district following an agreement reached between the Sultan of Brunei and Pak Lah himself.
But on 19 March, the Brunei second foreign affairs and trade minister Datuk Lim Jock Seng had denied claims by Pak Lah that the sultanate and Malaysia had already resolved their territorial dispute over Limbang in Sarawak.
The question is why did Pak Lah lied to the Sarawakians at the first place? What were the political motives behind such an inaccurate statement made by Pak Lah? Has Pak Lah lied in order to give credit to Sarawak chief minister and state Barisan chairman Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud in order for him to gain some grounds in the coming Sarawak state elections?
Looks like Tan Sri Abdul Taib had already felt the pressure from within his state and the growing influence of the opposition coalition who is going all out to ensure their victory. Abdul Taib is feeling the pinch right now. He had realized that he has been staying in power for too long and in fact the longest in our nation’s history. His monopolization in power, businesses and power abuses in Sarawak had became a talk all over the state and the people are now fed up with this kind of rules. That is why he is banking on Pak Lah assistance on the Limbang dispute in order for him to regain his ground and popularity.
But the Sarawakians knew better. They had been sidelined and divided for over decades by the Sarawak BN so that those in power could monopolize the state’s resources and enrich themselves. The state’s natives are still being left as it in decades ago. No change, nor any developments actually take place in most of the lands in that state. Corporate leaders having close connections with the Sarawak BN leaders were given exclusive rights and permits to conduct loggings in the state’s forest which forcefully misplaced thousands of natives from their homes, lands and farms.
Well, we are all hoping for the best that could take place in Sarawak soon. We hope that all Sarawakians will now come forward to demand for a change and to claim back their legal rights to decide what is best for their state and the people. And they could engineer the change by voting in the coming state elections.
The Batang Ai by-election will also be a testing ground for both Pakatan Rakyat and BN. IN the last state election, we could see one of the state BN’s component SUPP losing its influence when many of its candidates had lost to DAP. And in the last general elections, PKR and DAP also gained some grounds by winning some parliamentary constituencies.
Therefore, the people there could seek the change by voting Pakatan Rakyat. The people there needed a New Sarawak to emerge and rule by their own people.

Perda denies it being part of Bandar Perda development
The Penang Regional Development Authority (Perda) chairman and Penang Umno secretary Datuk Azhar Ibrahim denied that the federal development authority which he currently chairs had jointly build and developed Bandar Perda.
According to Datuk Azhar, Perda had nothing to do with Bandar Perda at all. And now the fate of some high profile occupants are uncertain, as the supplier for chill-water had confirmed that its bills had not been settle nor paid promptly. Those occupants who are expected to face a possible stoppage in their air-conditionings starting this Friday are the Seberang Perai Tengah District Police headquarters, Jaya Jusco Shopping Mall, the Seberang Perak Municipal Council (MPSP) complex, the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) and several other establishments.
A check at the major property developer Aseania Development Sdn Bhd website shows that Bandar Perda was a privatized project jointly undertook by both Aseania and Perda. That means Bandar Perda township is clearly a joint-venture project carried out with Perda’s active participation.
Meanwhile, the supplier had already informed the state authorities that it cannot afford to pay the sum of RM800,000 owed to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) anymore. TNB had given a notice to the said supplier until this Friday to settle the outstanding bills.
According to the agreement, the occupants of affected buildings in Bandar Perda are required to pay their air-conditioning bills to Aseania Development Sdn Bhd which in turn will channel the payment to the chill-water supplier. It has also been confirmed that most occupants had promptly paid their air-cond dues to Aseania Development Sdn Bhd which is owned by a Bukit Mertajam Umno divisional leader and it is uncertain if Aseania had really channel the payment to the chill-water supplier.
As a partner in developing Bandar Perda, Perda’s continuous denial of any responsibility clearly demonstrates their irresponsible attitude towards the well-being of the people and the businesses situated in the said township. They are running away from the facts and refuse to be part of Aseania when such crisis happens. Aseania belongs to Umno too, and to avoid further embarrassment, Azhar denied Perda’s involvement.
From here, we could see both entities belong to Umno and one part of it is trying to run away. Are there any motives or cover-ups? We hope the relevant authorities could start their probe as soon as possible to ascertain if there are any elements of corruptions or power abuse involved.

Why Karpal Singh was charged? The Umno racists are spared!
DAP National Chairman and MP for Bukit Gelugor Karpal Singh was charged in the court recently under the Sedition Act 1948 for calling on the Sultan of Perak to be taken to court for his recognition onto the Perak Umno rebel state government which was established following the coup d’etat initiated by Umno.
Karpal was merely giving his opinion on the way the Sultan of Perak had managed the constitutional crisis in the state. In 1993 Umno under the then leadership of Dr Mahathir Mohammad had openly sought to reduce the powers of the Malay Rulers and to curb their royal immunity as well by initiating the amendment to the federal constitution. Then Umno at that time also supported the establishment of a special court in order to hear grievances forwarded by the people against the Rulers.
So it was Umno then under the leadership of Dr Mahathir who had abolished the immunity of the Malay Rulers in order to pave way for the people to comment, constructively criticize and to allow Rulers to be taken to a special court should any grievances arise.
Last year, when the then Bukit Bendera Umno division chairman Ahmad Ismail called our Malaysian Chinese as “pendatang” and “penduduk sementara”, numerous police reports has been made against him and there are many people who urge the authorities to charge him in the court for his seditious and racist acts which could harm the national unity of our nation.
But the police only accepted the reports and just threw it into the waste paper bins and forget about it. This is because Ahmad Ismail was a prominent Umno leader who had close connections with the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. That is why the police dare not act against him even if his remarks and statements were seditious and racist which could endanger the national security of this nation.
So does former Selangor Umno mentri besar Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, who provoked a racial outbreak in the state by accusing Selangor State Executive Councillor Teresa Kok of organizing petitions against the Muslims for their loud azans at the mosque. A number of police reports were made against Khir Toyo for inciting racial hatred in this manner, but the police again failed to act or charge him in the court for his seditious and racist statements.
When Karpal Singh was speaking of justice and carried out his duty to defend and champion the democratic principles for the people, he was immediately hauled up into the court to be charged under Sedition Act 1948. What kind of justice is this? As long as Umno rules and dominates, there will be no justice at all to anyone of us.
When Perak Umno initiated a coup d’etat to topple the Perak state government their actions were immediately legalized as correct. When Perak Umno established the rebel state government, and the Sultan of Perak accidently and mistakenly recognized it, we were all condemned as traitors and alleged that we had committed treason just because we try to correct the wrong and we insisted that there is a constitutional crisis in Perak.
Again during the Umno general assembly few years back, a large number of party delegates in their speeches had called on their party leaders to wage war on our Malaysian Chinese community, but no action was taken by the police to have all these racist and violent culprits detained and charged in the court for their subversive activities. The police were afraid of them because Umno is very powerful.
If changes are not made now, maybe one day we could see the entire institution of this country being Umnonized. Soon, there will be an Umno police force, an Umno military force, an Umno attorney-general, an Umno supreme court, an Umno constitution, and everything that is Umno or it might be worst with an Umno monarch having absolute power ruling over us.
Right now, we could even see that the basic institution in our country’s administration has been collectively Umnonized without our knowledge or without ourselves realizing it that such dangerous moves had been systematically organized.
Therefore, if we as rakyat do not do something right now to uphold justice and unity, our generations to come will not be able to live in this country anymore as Malaysians. We as Malaysians must act now to stop Umno from further destroying our nation.

Everyone has their right to an attorney
Because of the influence from the Perak Umno rebel state government, the Ipoh High Court had denied Perak State Assembly Speaker V.Sivakumar’s right to have an attorney to represent him in his suit against the rebel state administration.
They reason that since Sivakumar as a Speaker is a public or civil servant, he has no right to engage an attorney of his own to address his case in the court against the rebel state government led by Umno. According to Umno he could only be represented by the state legal advisor.
This ruling does not make any sense at all. In this case every public or civil servant who has a case to be heard in the court will have to engage the state legal advisor or attorney-general to act on their behalf. A teacher is a public servant, a customs officer is a public servant, a municipal council worker is a public servant, the driver of the prime minister’s official vehicle is a public servant, a clerk attached to the treasury department is a public servant, a cleaner working in the prime minister’s official residence is also a public servant.
So does the attorney-general or state legal advisor have to answer to the calls of all public servants who are in a legal tussle or whatever case they may have to face? Why can’t a public servant have their every right to choose or select an attorney of their own to represent them? What is wrong with the judicial commissioner who sat in the chambers of Ipoh High Court? Why can’t he use the common sense to make the judgment correct but choose to depend blindly on the standard proceedings of the government which applies generally to only specific application and not as the entire service?
Well, the Court of Appeal had finally given its judgment and allowed Sivakumar to have his rights back to seek his own attorneys to represent him. Sivakumar’s basic human rights had been restored after being denied by the Ipoh High Court judgment.
The Perak Umno rebel state government had tried to prevent Sivakumar from advancing his legal suit against them by misusing the stature of the state civil service for their political ends.
The federal constitution guarantees all its citizens their rights to an attorney. And by depriving one’s right to an attorney means insulting the federal constitution as well. As such, Umno had in fact insulted the federal constitution.

Who embarrass the nation in the eyes of the world?
According to the Perak Umno rebel state government’s mentri besar Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir the emergency session of the state assembly held under the tree was to embarrass the nation in the eyes of the world.
It was Umno who had already embarrassed the nation in the eyes of the world from day one starting from the coup attempt organized at the Perak Umno headquarters right to the day when Umno held its illegal state assembly sitting also in the Perak Umno headquarters to topple a legally elected state government by proclaiming the rebel state government.
Umno toppled a legally elected state government by force, in an unconstitutional manner, in an undemocratic way, and in order to enforce their rebel administration, they got the federal security force to surround the Kinta Palace to force the Sultan of Perak to recognize their rebel administration.
That has actually already embarrassed the nation in the eyes of the world. And now they are creating more and more chaos and threats in order to curb the people’s uprising and to cover up their misdeeds.
Then they order the federal security forces to storm and seal the state assembly building and prevent our state assemblymen from convening a meeting for our people. That is why the state assembly sitting has to be held outside the building under a tree.
Umno had actually embarrassed the people of Perak and the nation in the eyes of the world just because they wanted to achieve their own political agenda, power and prestige. Umno had created a jungle rule in Perak.

Perak rebel Umno MB and his six exco members suspended from State Assembly
Perak rebel Umno Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir and his rebel state government's six state executive councillors from the Barisan Nasional have been suspended by the State Rights and Privileges Committee for contempt of the State Assembly.
Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir Zambry (Pangkor assemblyman) was suspended for 18 months while the six exco members Dr Mah Hang Soon (MCA-Chenderiang), Hamidah Osman (Umno-Sungai Rapat), Zainol Fadzi Paharudin (Umno-Sungai Manik), Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid (Umno-Kamunting), Datuk Saarani Mohamad (Umno-Kota Tampan) and Datuk Ramly Zahari (Umno-Manong) were suspended for 12 months.
The decision was announced by State Assembly Speaker V Sivakumar after a two-hearing which began yesterday.
The latest episode is expected to further worsen Perak's constitutional and political crisis which sparked off after the capture of the state government, following the cross-over of some Pakatan Rakyat assemblymen to the BN earlier this month.
The seven BN assemblymen had been referred to the Rights and Privileges Committee for contempt of the State Assembly when they took up the posts in the rebel state government's state executive council.
Zambry had yesterday appeared before the committee chaired by Sivakumar and made up of six other assemblymen, Datuk Hasbullah Osman (Temenggor) of Barisan Nasional and five from Pakatan Rakyat - Husin Din (Selingsing), Chan Ming Kai (Simpang Pulai), Ong Boon Piow (Tebing Tinggi), Loke Chee Yan (Kepayang) and Sum Chok Leng (Bercham).
Sivakumar had yesterday said the committee called them to give statements for the purpose of gathering information and to investigate a statement of Zambry's that appeared in newspapers on Tuesday. He said the probe was done under Article 72(3) of the Perak Standing Orders.
The mentri besar and his rebel state government's executive councillors were suspended due to their coup d'etat earlier which toppled the Pakatan Rakyat's elected state government when the Umno state assemblymen seized power after it conducted its own state assembly sitting at the Perak Umno headquarters to declared that they already had the numbers to form the new state government.

BN government ban political ceramah in Perak
The move by the BN federal government to instruct the police force via its home affairs ministry to ban all political ceramahs in Perak is seen as a measure by Umno to curb the increasing popularity of the Pakatan Rakyat amongst the people.
Besides, the move is also aimed to strengthen its grip in Perak following Umno's coup d'etat that toppled the Pakatan Rakyat state government recently and to prevent the opposition alliance from organising roadshows in the state to explain to the people on the actual political situation.
Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan says the ban will last until the situation in the state returns back to normal.
The ban on ceramahs in the state is also seen as one of Umno measures to curb the election campaigns expected to be fully mobilised by Pakatan Rakyat for the upcoming by-elections in Bukit Gantang parliamentary seat.

Umno plays its racist card in Perak as outrage spreads across all ethnic groups
Despite whipping up a storm of criticism, Umno is expected to stay stubbornly unrepentant and keep playing its favourite racial card, in a bid to stir up a groundswell of support amongst the Malays against arch rival Pakatan Rakyat.
Umno leaders Ahmad Shabery Cheek and Muhyiddin Yassin have been among those resorted to harsh language, calling the Pakatan’s refusal to accept the Perak Sultan’s appointment of a new Barisan Nasional state government as ‘treason’.
Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim upped the ante by announcing last night that Pakatan would not sue the Sultan for his decision, although the coalition maintains it is still the legitimate state government.
The opposition icon also denied talk that the Pakatan did not protect the rights of Malays, as accused by Umno.
“But who was given Genting Highlands? Lim Goh Tong. How about Pangkor? When Barisan Nasional gives land to Chinese bosses, it is fine.
But when we give a bit of land to poor Chinese, they turn it into a racial issue,” he said, referring to the Pakatan’s popular plan of awarding freehold land to all low-income groups including non-Malays.
Not just the Malays or PAS
State Umno deputy chief Ahmad Zahid Hamidi too is accusing PAS of being exploited by its Pakatan partners, PKR and DAP.
“Only one race was there and what was the use of having a coalition government when the Malays were only exploited by other races,” said Zahid. “Not that I want to be racist but the reality is only race was there. Where were representatives from other parties of the alliance? If they are really united, everybody was supposed to be there.”
He was referring to a street protest that took place outside a mosque nearby the Palace on Friday, when BN candidate Zambry Kadir was being sworn-in by the Sultan to replace Menteri Besar Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin.
However, what Zahid chose not to mention was that the crowd, which wanted to protest the Sultan’s decision to sack Nizar, had earlier joined the PAS leader for special prayers at the mosque.
Unsurprising then, that its composition was mostly Malay and supportive of PAS. Umno Youth is also planning to hold a demonstration in Perak to garner support for the Sultan.
“Obviously, Umno would do this. Firstly, the Sultan sided them, so to criticise the Sultan is to criticise them,” said a political analyst. “Secondly, whenever Umno is in trouble and want to cover up its wrongdoing, it will bring out the racial card and try to scare everyone else into submission.”
Not only DAP alone but all ethnic groups are also upset
Political watchers following the crisis in Perak pointed out that large numbers of non-Malays had attended ceramahs held at Nizar’s official residence on Friday and Sunday night.
The feelings of outrage are spreading across the different ethnic groups, who feel their rights have been trampled on by their Sultan and Umno-BN.
In fact, the dissatisfaction in the Chinese community is so strong that Deputy Premier Najib Abdul Razak, who masterminded the coup d'etat against Nizar, decided against attending a Chinese New Year function in Ipoh on Saturday night for fear of being condemned in the event.
On Sunday morning, at least 720 signatures were collected within 90 minutes during a petition signing at the Jelapang market, that demanded the immediate resignation of DAP state assemblywoman Hee Yit Foong.
Hee has incurred the wrath of the Perak Chinese, who believe she has betrayed the community by switching allegiance to the BN. The multi-racial Pakatan line-up is fairly representative of the composition of the Perak population, but only one BN assemblyman is non-Malay.
It was the same with Perak Indians, who overwhelmingly showed their support for Nizar versus Zambry during the duo’s respective visits to the Arulmigusubramania Temple in Gunung Cheroh for the Thaipusam festival.
Although Zambry - in typical Umno tradition - pledged to give RM100,000 to the temple, it was the simple but sincere Nizar who won the hears of the Indians, who all loudly cheered for him throughout his visit.
“We do not accept Barisan Nasional-Umno as the government, our Mentri Besar is Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin,” 26-year old M Vigneswary was reported as saying when interviewed at the Jelapang market.
The Barisan Nasional-Umno had established a rebel state government.

Most of their statements and information released to the pro-Umno and BN medias are one-sided with no free and fair coverage.
We hope our readers will not influenced by the various negative, racist and extremist propagandas released by Umno and BN recently to tarnish the image of our Pakatan Rakyat leaders and component parties.

Umno's coup in Perak
Looks like the Umno's attempt to overthrow the Perak Pakatan Rakyat state government may come to a success following the continuous pressure by Umno top leaders on the Sultan of Perak, particularly the Umno deputy president who is also deputy prime minister Najib Razak.
Najib was seen entering the Kinta Palace twice today to pressure the royalty to accept the rival Umno state government which has already been established this morning. If the Sultan were to accept the rival Umno state government over the existing Pakatan Rakyat's state government, what will it become then?
Well, as we know Umno still controls the federal government of which has the power over the federal security forces. Therefore, should Umno failed to obtain the so-called power transfer from incumbent Pakatan Rakyat state government, Umno may resort to the use of security force to enforce their rivalry over a democratically elected government.
The three PKR state assemblymen and a DAP representative were widely believed to have been bribed over to reduce the majority of the Pakatan Rakyat in the state legislature gained from last year's general election.
The two of the 3 PKR state assemblymen who defected, Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (Behrang) and Mohd Osman Jailu (Changkat Jering) are believed to have accepted an offer from Umno to have their corruption charges dropped by the public prosecutor when the court hearing on the duo's charges commence. This is the most disgusting political episode that Umno and BN had ever organised.
The people of Perak gave victory to Pakatan Rakyat on 8 March 08. Now Najib has, with an undemocratic means and corrupt manner taken away from Perak a government led mainly by people who serve the people so well.
Democracy in Perak is now dead.
Najib was seen entering the Kinta Palace twice today to pressure the royalty to accept the rival Umno state government which has already been established this morning. If the Sultan were to accept the rival Umno state government over the existing Pakatan Rakyat's state government, what will it become then?

Corruptions in UMNO, phantom voters and denials
Corruption or widely known in Umno as money politics had a very long established roots for decades. It is practically a daily business amongst all its party leaders from the presidential levels, supreme councils, state liaison committees, divisional committees, right down to the branch committees.
The money politics in Umno has been so popular today until its top leaders had a most difficult task of avoiding or denying it and finally they are saying that the leadership is taking steps to curb such practices in the party for good by calling in the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) for swift action.
Although a few arrests has been made and expected to be charged in the court soon for their malpractice, top leaders of the party remained untouched as we all know. These top leaders are the untouchables. So, what is the use of nabbing all those small flies who are merely office boys, agents or distributors? Why didn’t MACC go after those on the top and grab all those who are actually holding the money bags?
On cases of phantom voters within Umno, it is a well known subject whenever the party elections begins, be it a branch or divisional elections, such allegations are sure to come out when the opposing faction in the party does not get what they want or does not get elected into party offices. And there goes the party disciplinary and management committees start opening files and proceedings to receive such complaints from their grassroots and dissatisfied members but so far, these two committees had proven to be very ineffective as most of its decisions were made without any proper investigations being carried out by persons deemed to be independent from one faction or another. Decisions made by these two disciplinary and management committees are usually factional sided, with the complainant not getting satisfied proceedings at the end.
Then at the end, these two committees will make public of their justifications by saying that their decisions are made purely on their sole jurisdiction with no influences from any party leaders, that means they are an independent body as what they mean.
Although there are a few actions being taken against some party leaders earlier, but such action are proven only as a mere window dressing, with no real drastic action being taken in actual fact. If both the disciplinary and management committees of the party really walk its talk, there should be a reduction of such activities by now but it is seem to be increasing more and more whenever any party elections comes by. In fact these national and local Umno leaders are not afraid of the disciplinary and management committees showing the fact the party leaders are still overall powerful.
If we want to say that these disciplinary and management committee members are independent in their entities, it is actually not quite correct in sense that these committee members are still members of the party and they have been party leaders too in the past, and if they were party leaders before, the certain thing is most of them are tainted with money politics themselves as well during their periods in the party offices and leadership. So, can we actually ask an already tainted person to judge another tainted person? The other matter is, are all these independent members really of independent in their entities. Records shows that those retired leaders or veterans who are now sitting in these disciplinary and management committees are actually of factional based during their past leadership in the party. Are they truly independent in actual fact?
No wonder money politics are growing and developing rapidly in the party and it is going to achieve its record very soon as the most corrupted political party in Southeast Asia. If these disciplinary and management committees are really independent in sense of judgment and decisions, there should be no such negative activities anymore in the party, isn’t it so? The real wonder is its is rapidly growing and developing like nobody’s business at all.
So when comes to general elections in our nation, when there are claims of money politics and phantom voters being practically in use to buy voters and to shift voters’ choice over to their side, both Umno and the Elections Commission (EC) are quick to deny its existence saying that claims by the opposition are always out to tarnish Umno’s and the federal government’s image.
So, can you imagine what is the really funny here? During general elections, when opposition parties claimed money politics, vote buying and phantom voters at the Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) side, Umno is quick to deny that, but during the Umno party elections, when allegations of money politics, vote buying and phantom voters arise from within, the party leaders acknowledge its existence and they pledge to work on it and they are still working on it till today and they will continue to work on it for the rest of their lives.
The conclusion is, the opposition parties need not expose all these in the public because Umno itself had already exposes it themselves for decades. It is not the opposition parties who were out there to tarnish their image but it is Umno themselves who had already tarnish the image of their own. Umno is still in a denial mode and is on its way to self destruct.
